Thank you!
• Posted | 05/06/2026 •
While we are grateful everyday for our volunteer fire services here in Haverford Township, there was an incident yesterday that brought all FIVE volunteer companies together along with fellow first responders from Lower Merion. Electrical sparks fed by high winds in the area ignited an intense brush/house fire near Terra Alta Circle in Ward 4. One volunteer was taken to Lankenau for evaluation and another volunteer was treated at the scene. During this fire, the remaining parts of our community were protected by mutual aid coverage from Broomall, Newtown Square and Middletown. Thank you to all first responders whose courage never wavers – you are an inspiration to all!
